Dancing Light

In Alaska, light is everything. We can spot the dancing Northern Lights on most crisp clear nights, the saturated fading Alpine glow on the mountains and sun-light for 18+ hours in the warmest months. Light is necessary for a lot of the lively-hood and the lack of light can shut things down for a whole season or more. I'm inspired by the shadows creating patterns in the forest, the sun rays stretching across the dramatic terrain and the fleeting colors that dance in the sky.
